    Ebay ***

so, i was selling some Itunes GC codes on ebay, $25 worth, bidders looked good, and at the last second some asshat 0 feedback, with a obviously non-legit username, something like 1234567XY2012 bids on it, so i try to cancel the transaction, saying product no longer avail, and he declines the cancellation, costing me 3 bucks in ebay fees, I sent a second chance offer to the 2nd place bidder ( 31 feedback 100% positive ) and that went smoothly, but basically i got charged the final value fee twice..

do you think i woulda been scammed by the first guy?
its happened to me before, they just claim the codes were bad and ebay always sides with the buyer, plus i think ur not supposed to sell gift codes like that, ur sposed to mail the physical card

Selling electronically delivered good on ebay is risky as hell.Just recently someone with a good amount of positive feedback charged me back for a transaction we had a few months back.I ended up paying a $20 charge back fee since he payed with a credit card. You did the right thing not going through with the transaction.Just don't make a big deal when you end up paying fees like that, you just lost $3 and not the whole thing.

Amazon seems like a better place due to this kind of crap...ebay is so expensive and sides with the buyer almost always.
